This is the first time I have ever felt the need to write a review. The costume is cute, pretty well constructed for a costume, and comes with all the extras. The major problem I had was it wasn’t what I thought it was. I assumed that with a name like “Fiber Optic Garden Fairy” that the costume actually lit up, but it doesn’t. I am very disappointed and am contemplating sending it back.
I recently purchased this costume for my 23 month old daughter for halloween, I am extemely disappointed. The fit on the costume is fine but the construction of it is awful! The sheer material over the bodice of the skirt has been terribly cut, it looks like someone just took a pair of scissors to it and cut away. As soon as I removed the costume from the bag flowers began to fall off of the skirt, it literally looks as if someone took fake flowers, took out the wire stem, and hot glued them all over the dress, it is also very thin so you have to handle it with care or else it will rip very easily, not to mention how cheap it looks! You have to bend the head piece because that is too big and the wings look nothing like the ones in the photo and smell horrible.. overall I would say save your money and do not waste your time on this costume, you might as well purchase one at a dollar general, it will probably be of better quality!
